What is the Traveler’s Aid Society?

The Traveler’s Aid Society of Metropolitan Detroit is a nonprofit organization that provides permanent supportive housing and individualized case management to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Through a Housing First model, they support over 150 families in Detroit with wrap-around services that promote stability and self-sufficiency. In addition to housing, TASMD connects clients with community resources for employment, mental and physical healthcare, life skills training, substance use treatment, and more.
