What is this resource?
Michigan Alliance for Families is a statewide resource to connect families of children with disabilities to resources to help improve their children’s education. We help facilitate parent involvement as a means of improving educational services and outcomes for students with disabilities.

How can I get started with this resource?
- Access https://www.michiganallianceforfamilies.org/ and click on the “About Me” tab which will appear as a drop down menu.
- Click on “MAF Regions”. Once directed here, scroll down just below the map where you will click on “Click to expand” right by where it says “Regions by County”.
- Scroll down until you find your region which will show the mentor for that region as well as their phone number and email.
- Another way to get started is by clicking on the “About Me” tab which will appear as a drop down menu.
- Scroll down and fill out the information and then click “send” at the bottom
- You should hear back within 3 business days
