What is this resource?

The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan is a non-profit organization that serves as a central hub for collecting, storing, and distributing food to a network of nearly 600 partner agencies, such as food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters, across 22 counties in eastern Michigan. Since its establishment in 1981, the Food Bank has been dedicated to fighting hunger by securing food donations from various sources, including retailers, farmers, and manufacturers, and ensuring its safe distribution to individuals and families facing food insecurity within its extensive service area.
