What is this resource?

The Agape Center Food Pantry, located in northern Macomb County, provides free food assistance to individuals and families facing emergency situations. The pantry is stocked with canned goods, meat products, fresh produce, and personal care items to support those in need. In addition to food assistance, the Agape Center partners with local churches to help clients facing housing and or utility insecurities. Services are completely free and do not require insurance. Volunteers ensure that all visitors are treated with dignity and respect. The pantry is open on select weekdays, and individuals in need are encouraged to visit during operating hours or call in advance for more information.

This center is also a distribution center for the emergency food assistance program of Macomb County and Forgotten Harvest. Please note that individuals are not permitted to visit other pantries while being served by The Agape Center. Additionally, their service is curbside.

How do I get started with this resource?

To access the Agape Center Food Pantry, visit during open hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM or Thursdays from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at 347 S. Main St., Romeo, MI 48065.

While no documents are required, bringing identification may be helpful. If you have questions about food assistance, utility shut-offs, or eviction support, call the pantry at (586) 336-6737 or the office at (586) 336-6842.
