What is this resource?

Advantage Health in Detroit is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that has been serving the community for many years, initially focusing on the healthcare needs of the homeless and underserved populations. Over time, its mission has expanded to include all individuals and families in the Detroit area, regardless of their ability to pay or insurance status. They have multiple locations throughout Detroit and nearby communities like Warren.

As a patient resource, Advantage Health offers a broad spectrum of integrated services including medical, dental, and behavioral health care. Their medical services range from routine check-ups and preventative care (including screenings and vaccinations) to the management of chronic conditions and family medicine. For dental care, they provide general dentistry, preventative care, and restorative services like crowns and dentures. Advantage Health also offers behavioral health services, including therapy, counseling, and psychiatric evaluations for adults, children, families.

They also have pharmacy services at some of their locations where they offer prescription assistance- a program to help people afford the medications they need to stay healthy.
